I have a client who has a partner Endeavor Processor with a 362 308 expansion card. They are plugged into a 2 slot carrier. Is is possible to plug them into a 5-slot carrier and add a partner 308 and a VS voice mail card?

Thank you for your help!

No, only more 362's though I kind of think that the last release also allowed 206's, not sure about that. Also if you need more than one expansion mod there was an upgrade card that you would need to allow the expansion beyond the 1 module. Not sure if you can use a 5 slot with just one 362. Yes you can use a PMVS or a voice messaging PC card. The PMVS counts as the one module. Don't ask me what releases will work with that thing and I have not seen a 2 slot to 5 slot upgrade card since the Endeavor was discontinued.

I would suggest replacing it with an ACS to save a lot of trouble.

I recently helped another tech upgrade an Endeavor in a 5-slot carrier to an ACS R7 and PVS r5 mail. The R5 mail wouldn't come up until we got a patch card from Avaya Tier 4. After several attempts to get the patch to take, it finally came up. We now have 2-362 cards, ACS R7 processor, 308 and PVS R5 voicemail up and running. Just dumb luck, but everything works. Like Hal, I really wasn't keen on using the 362's; but it wasn't my job, so I just punted.

Let me correct that, kind of had it backwards. After the Endeavor was discontinued the 362EC mods could be used with the ACS starting with R5.0. This allowed an upgrade/replacement path.

So, the Endeavor only used 362EC's.
