Hi,

We have a issue thats been ongoing for over a year now.

Firstly, we use Faxcom, which integrated with our Avaya, and out via analogue IDSN30 - standard stuff.

We send faxes via Faxcom everyday, and they all make it to the end user absolutely fine, with no problem.

For 2 companies we send to, they have never received our faxes properly. The pages come through, but only half of the first page will be there etc.

We have changed the codecs around however this isnt going to change much as we end up sending the faxes through analogue circuits anyway.
ECM is on.

Can anyone shed any light to any reasons why these 2 companies can not receive faxes from ourselves?

Any suggestions would be great

Presuming all your faxes are 100% good over IP, except these 2 companies.
And those 2 companies are 100% ok receiving faxes, except from you...
Are they local or long distance? If they're long distance, try buying a LD calling card from the convenience store and calling them that way. Or, with 10-10-XXX and the PIC code of a different LD carrier.

It could prove IP transport between your carrier and theirs not being good enough to carry fax. Without knowing your carriers or how they link up to one another, there's always the possibility you use "cheapo LD company that pays for cheap linkups to other carriers" and make way too many hops to their gear

And, turn ECM off. Better to test and have a few blank lines and keep going than blank pages.
