End of Month 1

Is there anyway to get a formula to convert any date to the end of the date of that month (ie if May 13th, would convert it to May 31st, if February 15th, would convert it to February 28th)?

dateserial(year({table.date},month({table.date}+1,1)-1

I added this formula, but it is saying the ) is missing. I added a ) to the end of the formula, but it's saying the ) is still missing. I added a second ), but now it's saying too many arguments.
