Symposium 5 is end of life which means Nortel no longer provide any fixes for it, nor can you buy any more agent licenses etc. This does not mean you have to rush out and buy CC6 if you are quite happy with this situation. If you need to expand then you will need to upgrade to CC6.

Support also depends on your vendor, you will pay for it but vendors will almost always support older equipment, if they don;t, then find a new vendor!
Our vendor is still still supporting Max and CCR on one site we have. Of course Nortel won't help, but that doesnt mean we have to throw it away.
