Has anyone seen a document that shows when Avaya will consider a G3 to be at the end of support for software. I have heard that V4 - 6 are now at end of life, and V7 is July of this year. However I cannot find anything in writing.
Avaya has a few different terms for this stuff and here are the general definitions as I understand them:
End Of Life = No Longer supported at all
End Of Manufacturers Software Support = No new patches and customers can not add any new RTU or Features.
End of Support = Avaya will no longer provide maintenance contracts.
I believe that End Of Manufacturers Software support for G3 V2 V3 and V4 will be June of this year and for G3 R5 - R10 in 2005 (different months for each)
I don't think there is a stated (publicly) for any of the mentioned versions.
