Shift system request then 2, will end the CURRENT request ONLY not the job. An example, say you did a WRKQRY or RUNQRY and it was taking a long time. The system request 2 will cancel the query action NOT the job.
I am not sure why you want to end the job (from the job). You can use the WRKACTJOB then option 4 (prompt if needed) to end a specific job. Or simply use the ENDJOB command.

Select Option > Settings > Keyboard Maps. This will allow you to configure your keyboard layout.
The Attachmate default for system request is Alt + F11
