We have an application that uses pgp 6.5.8 to encrypt files. The platform being used was recently upgraded from W98 to a locked-down W2K platform. The process used to be completely automated with no user input required, but now the user is prompted to enter random data until indicator reaches 100%. The randseed.rnd file defaults to the winnt directory, which is no longer accessable to the user (locked down environment) so I attempted to configure pgp (pgp.cfg) to use the randseed.rnd file from a non-locked down directory, but the user still has to enter the random data. Any help is appreciated.
