Encrypted password issue

On an X250e I tried to add an encrypted password to the admin account with the command
config account admin encrypted testpw!
I then saved config, logged out and tried logging back in with the account admin/testpw!. No go. So now I am locked out of the switch. What is the correct way to set up an encrypted password, and what is the easiest way to default the switch (I have a backup config)?

If you use the "encrypted" flag the switch expects a one way hash as the password. When you put in "testpw!" that became the 1 way hash for the password.

Simple run "config account admin" and hit enter and it will ask you for the password. After confirming it the switch will automatically encrypt it for you.
