I´m examining the security issue when it comes to data transmission, especially using multicast transmission. What solutions exists today? How about the future? Why can you use IPSec on multicast transmission on IPv6 and not in IPv4? Are there any other solutions on the market today accept the ones using smart cards?

I hope I can start a discussion about this topic. Feel free to join the debate. Meanwhile I will keep on searching information.
