Hi there, we need to come up with a solution to encrypt our laptop disk contents securely when our people are travelling with their laptops.

We used to use PGP disk but I believe the newer versions no longer support this.... Can anyone suggest a way of doing this?

Also, is it possible to actually "hide" the existence of encrypted files on the disk? Thinking from the point of view of a potential thief - if they can't find anything interesting to hack in the first place...

Thanks in advance..

Hi

The solution we are using is a product called Safeboot
It uses a 1024 bit encryption algorithm.
Check it out the following url

One attraction with this product is that you have an added level of authentication even before the OS comes up so it negates the need of hiding the encryption
