We run an exchange 5.5 on a Microsoft 2003 R2 enterprise server. Repeatedly we'v got problems with customers and suppliers receiving mail with characters garbled. This is most common with special Norwegian chars(æ,ø,å), but also applies to other chars and symbols. We use word as email editor, but I have sent mail without using word, and also sending it as plain text. Not working. Most of the reported issues comes from externals using some version of Apple mail/other apple-world products. One supplier identified their system as Apple Mail 3.5 and Kerio Mail 6.5 server on Mac OS Server 10.5. Any clues anyone?
