Hello gang,

A question regarding IBM's SAN solutions. We currently have in place a DS4300 controller with an attached EXP710 enclosure each loaded out with fibre backed drives 28 in total.

Can I attach 'one' more exp710 to gain the enclosure failover for raid5 arrays? I am trying to eliminate any one point of failure including the fibre switches the enclosure connects to. I am presuming that by adding one more EXP710, this will allot for the three enclosures that are necessary?

Just need some confirmation that this is infact correct.

Thanks kindly.
