I am installing a TD816 PBX and a TVS75 VPS. (This is the first system I've configured.) I configured a port on the 816 for the VPS and integrated the two systems through a d-pits connection, and I have been able to access the voicemail ports from a station.

Unfortunately, I can't for the life of me figure out how to have the VPS answer an outside call after a certain number of rings, or how to have a mailbox answer a call to a particular extension. I think what I need to do is a) set up my VPS port to intercept the outside call after four rings (I've set up a custom menu) and b) have the corresponding mailbox intercept at an extension after a couple of rings. I'm sure there are just a couple of settings on the 816 I need to adjust.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam Martin

You need to program address 203 intercept time 4 rings also
409/410 intercept ext. to vm 165. That will get you to you custom menus for intercept to vm .
