Enabling registry editing by HTA

This question is posted in Windows 7, VBScript, and HTML, XHTML, and CSS

Is there a way to allow HTAs to read and write to the registry viaa VBS. I would assume it's an IE security option.

I already employ this class. The problem is that IE doesn't allow registry editing (assuming malicious intent) HTA's are instances of IE.

I decided to use a file to store my value instead of a registry file.
