Enabling HostRAID in Linux

Hi,

So I installed RedHat EL 3.0 Update 4 in a NEC Express5800/120Rg-2 with an onboard Apadtec 29390-AR RAID 0/1 capable. I set 2 internal disks in RAID 1. With windows I see only one disk drive which is good since I have RAID 1 by hardware. But Linux doesn't see the RAID 1 and it takes the disk drives as normal disks, overriding the RAID 1 configuration in the Adaptec board.

does someone know how to enable the hostraid in the linux in order to use the RAID 1?
