I'm doing a couple of new sites (applying CSS retroactively is tricky) -I want to use CSS & to get it right. I'm coding by hand (not using anything more complicated than notepad). My first couple of attempts worked fine on my development machine, even on a couple of Macs. Unfortunately my boss's PC (running ie6) refuses to notice my styles. He also reports other machines on his travels have the same "problem". Everything appears to be fine in his IE settings (on Win98). Netmechanic.com seems to think the site's perfect. My coding is fairly simple & I have reasonable confidence in it. Is there something I'm missing?

cheers
