Hello,

I'm very new to Linux and I just sucessfully installed Redhat Fedora. Now, my only problem is I don't seem to be able to surf the net. It doesn't look like Redhat establish a connection or else can't see my network card etc. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to do to correct this problem or things I should check? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,

I should also mention that my network adapter is an nVidia nForce MCP Networking Adapter.

Mike

Did you try 'ifconfig'?
I don't know anything about MCP-Network-Adapters and always used a serial-, a pci- and today a dsl-modem.
But perhaps 'man ifconfig' is a start.
