Ive got a stack of 5 Cisco 3750G's with 4 separate Vlans configured. I also have 1 Cisco 2950 trunked off the stack to a computer lab. My ultimate goal is to be able to ghost (multicast) to all the client machines in the lab from a ghost server anywhere in the building.
The ghost server and the client machines are all in the data vlan and ghosting works, but it does flood out to all ports and sometimes brings the network to a crawl.
On the 3750's I have IGMP enabled and the "learning method is pim-dvmrp"
Do I have to create a "multicast group" on the switch? The Cisco 2950 is setup the same way.
Thanks for your help in advance.
