I have written an Access 2007 application which is working 99% as desired. The remainng problem is to stop the operator continuing to scan with a USB barcode reader if an error situation is trapped. If scans continue to be made the handheld USB scanner beeps as usual and the operator may think nothing is wrong. Can I somehow just kill the power to the usb port?
