I am attempting to disable the bypass key (SHIFT) on a specific .mdb application.

bosully kindly pointed out to run it from a RunCode Action in a macro. However, when I run the function I get a

COMPILE ERROR:
USER-DEFINED TYPE NOT DEFINED

ACCESS does not recognize the following line in my function:
Dim db As DAO.Database
when writing the function "Database" is not an object choice that pops up after the "As".

it is not allowing the DAO.Database. WHY???

goto a code module, goto the menu and choose tools.. and then references make sure that DAO 3.6 is checked. if not scroll down and select it.
