Hello. I was wondering if it is possible to enable/disable attributes in a category depending on another attribute selection? For example: there are 3 attributes, Country, State, Province. If you choose Canada from the Country attribute, the State attribute becomes disabled. I know that you can make them hierarchal but I would like to enable/disable instead.

Thanks in advance!

The attribute code model of opentext is based on static templates that is you have to define the fields before hand so there is no conditional checking. However I have seen implementation where the logic is built using a html form and not the category screen html. The form is defined exactly like you want with javascript logic. When the form is submitted it is mapped to the static category(as in your example this time the state will be submitted with a null value). In the implementation I was talking about we would submit the user submitted values to a table and we used perl logic to develop Object Importer control files that would create the actual object.I would also ask to check with OT support to see if professional services has devloped this functionality as well so you don't have to do any extra coding..

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
