I have a general mailbox that I'm trying to connect to via IMAP, but I'm being told the Mailbox does not have desktop capabilities.

I did test a few other mailboxes and it works fine. What do I need to set to allow the general mail box to have Desktop capabilities and access from Outlook via IMAP?

Thanks,

Chad Newman

Change the CLASS OF SERVICE (COS) on the General Delivery (GD) Mailbox to match those that work. By default, I believe the GD mailbox uses COS 1. You can modify any COS to allow unified messaging.

Now, this is a change from the past as now there is a check on the number of mailboxes that have Unified Messaging allowed, and if this exceeds licensing, it will let you know.
