Is it possible to Enable Content of an ACCESS database in VBA? Or is there another way to do it. I have an ap that is new to several users, and I don't wan't to have them deal with enabling content the first time they open the ap. Using ACCESS 2010 on Windows 7.

Thanks

Enable Content?

Do you mean the SECURITY question when you open the application?

You mean DISABLE the security via VBA?
Like a HACKER might want to do???
Do you think that THAT would be a good idea to allow to happen??????

Put the db in a trusted location.

Hope This Helps, PH.

If you just rename the extension from ".accdb" to ".accdr" you will then just get a security notice.

But, the DB will run in a runtime environment, which means, make sure that your error checking can take care of most problems that may happen.
