Hi Guys,

Like IIS Server how can be enable the Anonymous User logon on domino web server which is running on windows 2000 server sp4.When the mdb located on the same pc the connecting to the access database is fine but when it is on different machine it gives a message

My server admin doesn't want to run IIS separately because domino itself is a webserver.so we don't know how to configure it to accept the anonymous logon..

SQL Exception: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data

Any one have any ideas as to how to solve this problem..Pls

Thanks in Advance

For Domino you do not necessarily need to be authenticated to browse the server. That is defined in the server document (security tab, security settings - allow anonymous Notes connections).
To browse a database anonymously, that db must accept it. That is configured in the ACL by including a new person named Anonymous, and setting the appropriate access level (reader, generally).

I don't have the faintest idea how that can be interfaced with IIS though.

Pascal.
