Enable and Disable IE 5 print background at run time.

Hi all,

I know that by default the print background is disabled and I totally agree with that. However I have a ASP page that generate a table from a recordset object, the table has colored background which I would like to be printed but I don’t want the print background option enabled permanently.

Does anyone know if this is at all possible? And if it is, How?

I had to look at this before too. Unfortunately this could be seen as a security vunerablity if a website could change browser settings. I looked for a solution for a few days but to no avail. I could not find code that could change the client Browser Settings.
