hi
we use F80 i tried to use two of ethernet cards en0 and en1
we can use only en0 the system can not ping en1 we used a different ip for en1 how can we use two ethernets together?

All of our servers are using two or three Ethernet adapters and in cases where I have setup HACMP, it was required. You may want to check and make sure you are not using the same subnet address.... example:
xxx.xxx.1.xxx for en0 and xxx.xxx.1.xxx for en1
This has given me problems in the past.
You can have different subnet addresses on the same router.

I have always using smitty to setup my adapters without any problems (smitty - communications - tcp/ip - min config)... Also make sure you go into smitty - devices - communication and set your Ethernet to Auto Neg. Have the ports on the router set the same.... You can have performance problems if they are not equal....

Good Luck...
