Empty Voice Mail Messages

I have a customer who claims that they occasionally will have a knew Voice Mail Message with nothing in it. The Message envelope is there but no message. They claim that they have verified with the sender that they actually left a message at that time and date. Has anyone encountered this problem before?

The system is a BCM50 Rel 3.0 with a PRI and with latest PEPs as of April this year.

If there r patches that have come out since April then load them as it may fix your issue. It could also be a sign your HD is starting to fail. Does it happen w/ multiple mailboxes or just one? If only one could delete & rebuild it.

I recall working on a case once where the message was full of white noise, as opposed to no message. That was resolved a long time ago by a voicemail fix. And I believe was related to VPIM as opposed to someone just leaving a voicemail message.

Thank you all for your replies. I haven't found anything referencing this particular problem. Strange thing is that it only happens to 1 individuals mailbox and it has only happened maybe 6 times in the last year. I will look into the VPIM issue a little more.
