I am doing a regular report preview and the system comes
up with a 'black' area around the top and to the left of the
previewed report. In order to see the right side I have to scroll. How can I ensure that the whole window is
occupied by the actual report with no 'black holes' ?

Before you answer me, please test solution by you first.

Thank You

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is an answer. The size of the "right" window is based on the report's fonts (and whether these are installed on the user's machine), the printer driver used, the video driver used, the system's current resolution and whether the application is using a resource file (and whether it's read-only or not). If you're keeping track, only the last one is directly under your application's control.
