Hello everybody,

I've a problem with a mail account on XP.
One of our employees got a new computer and changed
from NT to XP.
We work with an Exchange server and when I set her
e-mail account the inbox stays empty. If I check
the mail on the old NT machine everything seems to be
working fine...

Normaly our employees have an off-line account. So
they have to click the "send and recieve" button to
get their mail. It synchronises a offline file on
a network drive called "mail.ost".

Again when I do the same on the NT machine everything
is fine, but on XP the inbox stays empty...

Anybody any ideas?

P.

I had the same problem and when I recieved a message it
would disappear I checked the users outlook settings and
it had changed to deliver to a PST and not the mailbox.
I changed it back and copied everthing from the personal
folder back into the In Box.

Hope this helps.

A couple of other places to check are:

the inbox View, Current View setting. Make sure it's not set to show only unread messages or something.

Also check for any strange rules that might be in effect.
