Hello Everyone,
I’m importing to CVS directory structure. Among some files this structure contains empty directory. When checked into CVS this empty directory is ignored. Why? how to avoid such a “smart” cvs behavior?

Also related question:
I have
test.ksh
test.ksh~ (which is created by xemacs )
and test.ksh.old
while importing to cvs I can see that test.ksh~ and test.ksh.old are ignored.
why? how to avoid it?

Many Thanks!

CVS doesn't explicitly handle directories.
You can get past this by creating a blank placeholder file inside the directory.
