Sometimes a client agent on a server will get hung. The job log will have the error. "Client Agent Empty Buffer Event". It does not happen all the time, but when it does it throws my backup shcedule way behind. Anyone know how to fix this?
Which version of Arcserve? Service packs? Patches?
Which platform is Arcserve running on? What is the OS version and patch level?
Is the target being backed up locally, via SMB (network) or an agent?
How is the network setup (same net, router between, 10? 100? full duplex/half?
Did you apply ALL of the patches for the server and the client?
This message seems to be undocumented.
Your best bet is to call CA on this one...
