Empty activity log in Job status window 1

We have Arcserve 11.5
This morning, when controlling Arcserve I have found this problem, afeter googling, i have applied this procedure :
stop igateway service
cstop
rename the log folder
CStart

But without any success.
I have tried to use FileMon, i found that igateway causes buffer over flow when reading the brightstore.log file

Any Ideas.

stop all the ARCserve services
close the ARCserve manager
rename the ARCserve Backup\LOG directory
startup ARCserve and it should work
