Hi does anyone know if it is possible to create a login/logout system to record when employees enter/leave a building. I want to use a barcode reader (rs232) on a com port to read a barcode that each employee will have. Just need to log date time against each employee, will create some reports to show attendance history... Is there any examples i can use to test barcode input to com port, any templates for me to look at?
