We have recently had to let someone go. On their way out the door they have changed the passwords on several excel sheets in the office locking both the sheets, the workbook, and the VBA project. Does anyone have a painless way to get around the password protection, locked cells, etc? I could recreate a few of these but would rather not.

Thanks

Google "Crack Excel password" . . .

There's a ton of utilities out there claiming to do that. I've only used one that cracked sheet-level passwords, but it certainly did what it claimed (took it less than 1 second!).
