Employee no longer with us, want to FWD all calls to another extension 1

SX 200 embedded voice mail

...but I ran into a problem if the person who is receiving the forward does not answer it will revert back to the original extension's mail box.

A couple things I have tried:

CFA ext1 -> to ext2 - only works if ext picks up before vm kicks in.

Make ext1's mailbox a transfer - that seemed to work but now goes back to the main greeting.

Surely there must be a way to make a extension ring another one _and_ be able to use the destinations vm box.

If not, should I just make the mailbox an announce only advising the caller the ext has changed to a new ext?

Option 1 - Leave 2 mailboxes, rerecord messages appropriately, add MWI key on destination set for other MB.

Option2 - Delete old set. Create key on covering set. Call will drop into covering sets MB. There is a COS option that will prevent this option from working.
