When working with Outlook Express I could export the separate email messages with the .eml extension. This is a great option, because you get everything in just one file (even the attachments).

For my job I am however working with Outlook 2000. Is there a similar option ? Is there a way to export to .eml from within Outlook 2000 ? Who can help me out here ?

regards ...

The best way I know of to save messages is to use File > Save As and then select the location and the format you want from the list.

I know that you can select 'save as' and choose from the extensions .txt, .msg, .opt (& .html in case of html documents).

What I wanted to know is if there was maybe a plugin to get the option .eml also.

I guess not and therefore I am using the extension .msg which does the same as .eml
