emetrotel Sip attacks by idiots from out of the country

So, someone from another country tried to hack the system, we( me and Emetrotel Support) shut it down, not sure where we did this now, probably routes, my remote sip phone is not able to make an outside phone call,,,, any ideas?

Restricting phones is usually done by creating a custom context and then selecting the context on the extension's configuration page (middle of the page - Device Options - Call Restrictions).

As I mentioned on the other thread, make sure to use strong passwords for all your SIP extensions!

I use a hardware based firewall with no open ports for my systems. Those that have remote extensions use an openvpn tunnel
