I have a YMCA client. They want to have an emergency telephone in their pool area. What is the best way to set this up? Which restriction should I use? Is their a way that they can dial 9-1-1 without dialing the 9 to get an outside line?

don't run it through the ACS

get something like a viking hot line phone and wire it direct to the phone line bypassing the Partner

I would put it on a dedicated line

(yes you can get a outside line without dialing nine , just use line selection and have default to outside lines rather than intercom )

just another thought , if you do decide to run it through the partner set it up as a hotline dialing 911. no need for restrictions

I have a after hours service line setup this way on a partner 11

lift the handset it calls the service person on duty's home phone
