Emergency routing of calls

All,

We use a call centre application which interacts with our switch & handles all of our routing including closed office days & out of hours.

1 thing it can't do is that if an emergency was to occur I would like to quickly divert all vdn's quickly.

Has anyone any thoughts & experience of doing this?

I'm thinking if there is a remote access code to divert all vdn's to an announcement?

Cheers.

We use global variables to assign a closed message. Then we build an alternate vdn where the caller (if they enter the proper code) can assign a value to that variable.

In all of the production vectors we check for the value of that variable, and then do our time of day and callqueing. In the first part if the variable = <CLODED VALUE> we route the calls to a closed message. Alternately we handle them normally.

You could just as easily route them to an alternate desknation.
