Emergency Repair Disk

Hi,

I have made an ERD. The problem is: the software._ file is too big to fit in a floppy disk. Can I make a ERD without software._file and still us it. I am thinking to save software._ on some other servers, so later I can transfer it back on original server. Is the ERD good without software._ file?
