Hello,

I am working on an Emergency Recovery Plan for my companies network infrastructure in case of a disaster.

This is the first time I have had to create such a plan. Have anyone of you created something like this before and if yes, could you send me a copy.

Our network has 25 servers. among these servers we have SQL 7, Exchange 5.5, 2 Windows 2000 DC, DNS servers, IIS servers, Proxy server, VPN servers and printservers.

I already took inventory of the servers and their configurations. what's next?? Anyone who has experience creating such a document pls help me!

Any help would be useful! Thank you!

Robert

You have the first part done...Next I would add step by step instructions on how to rebuild and restore each server and their applications.

Place in a doc describing how to get the backup media back from offsite.

Place a user doc on restoring from your backup software.

Put who the contacts are and their numbers.

Place a copy of each CD License/App License in the doc.

Place a CD/Floppy of every piece of software you will need to get completly recovered for all systems.

So on...
