Hi All, I'm back for more abuse........


Question. Customer wants to setup a mailbox that they can record a message and the ipo will call 40 of its employee's and relay the message. Can it do this or should i recommend another piece of equip? Like a bad weather announcement, do not come to work type of thing.

I Have a ip office 403 with vm pro.

Put the 40 Members in a hunt Group, enable broadcast messaging.

Enable outcalling for New Priority Messages for the 40 Members of the Hunt Group (Assuming Outcalling is not currently being used, will also need to set up the Outcall numbers). May need to do this using Phone Manager.

Then, when a message is to be sent to the the 40 just leave it to the hunt group mailbox and on completing the message mark it as a Priority message.

Ahh, so the only time it will outcall is when the message is left as priority. Cool, thanks!
