I arrived at work this morning to find out that our primary server experienced multiple hard disk failures over the weekend. I have installed Windows Server 2000 on another system as a backup just so people can log in again to access files/applications on other servers. However, after install I cannot get the backup server to "talk" with the others. The other serevrs can access and see the new backup server's shares, but the backup server returns an "is not available" error when trying to access the existing servers. Any ideas? It is probably something simple that I can't think of in my rushing state. All the servers are in the same domain. The other servers were children in the primary domain controller's Active Directory that failed.
