Greeting all!

I recently picked up a EMC SCSI FC Array, however I do not know the sub-model or type, simply that it is a 10 disk array with copper FC connections (9 pin serial) I have a single cable for it and a PCI-x controller card

However when I boot it up and boot the server, the server sees only the PCIx controller, not the array. Since the controller on the array has 3 Serial FC connections (A, B, and EXP) should I have to install a terminator for it to appear on the server?

Thanks!

You'll need to log into the management interface of the array, and create LUNs then assign those LUNs to the server.

You'll probably need to install NaviAgent on the server so that the server can connect to the array correctly.

You'll need to know the array model (it should say it on the unit somewhere) and what version of the array software is installed.

How many pieces of equipment make up the array? Is it just the shelf with the disks, or is there another piece as well? What color is the unit?
