When I attempt to open the EMC on my Exchange 2010 server I get the following error:

The following error occurred when searching for On-Premises Exchange server:

[mail.mydomain.com] Connecting to remote server failed with the following message: The client cannot connect to the destination specified in the request. Verify that the service on the destination is running and is accepting requests. Consult the logs and documentation for the WS-Management service running on the destination, most commonly IIS or WinRM. If the destination is the WinRM service, run the following command on on the destination to analyze and configure the WinRM service: "winrm quickconfig". For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic. It was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer -UsaWIA $true -SupressError $true'

When I run winrm quickconfig from a command prompt or power shell I get the following message:
WinRM already is set up to receive request on this machine.
WSManFault
Message = The WinRM client cannot complete the operation with the time specified. Check if the machine name is valid and is reachable over the network and firewall exception for Windows Remote Management service is enabled.

Error number: -2144108250 0x80338126
The WinRM client cannot complete the operation within the time specified. Check if the machine name is valid and is reachable of the network and firewall exception for Windows Remote Management service is enabled

When I run the emtshooter powershell script on my exchange service I get an error message that port 80 is not binded to the default site. A box pops up asking if I want to bind port 80 to the default site, I answer yes. If I run the emtshooter powershell script again I get the same message.

I have disabled the firewall, I have disabled the antivirus (AVG), I am able to ping the server as well as browse to it via Windows Explorer, if I try to pull up mail.mydomain.com in a web browser I get the following message

403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

If I browse to I get the default site for IIS 7.0

Sorry for the long winded message, I wanted to provide as much information as I could. I have tried quite a few things all to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

One other thing, not sure if it is related, the reason I need to get into EMC is because their is a problem with my certificate.

When opening out look I get a dialog box with the following

'The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority'
'The certificate date is valid'

Both of the above have green check marks beside them

a red X is beside 'The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site'

Can you go into IIS and make sure that the Default Web Site is healthy. Make sure that port 80 is listed in the bindings and is not using a host header. Since PowerShell has to connect to the Powershell vdir inside the Default Web Site, that can be a common reason for PowerShell not working properly for the EMC.

I got distracted and hit submit before I was ready.

There is also not header.
