I have just recently gotten two EMC/Clariion FC4400s and both are being very difficult to communicate with. The story begins with the disk that is attached came from another 4400 and is probably not in the same order/setup as they were before. (Im not 100% sure here, but definate on the disk is from another clariion) I can attach to the com port with hyperterm and watch the SPs boot. After that, I disconnect the Hyperterm and try to connect with Navisphere Agent and I can not seem to get connected. It says there is nothing being managed. When I loaded superviser, and tried to check the properties I get, "RAID group partition is invalid". Is there a way to get the Clariions to get fully reset?
