Is there a way to acess from an excel formula for example, the value of an dropdown object within that Sheet?

Hi There George [wavey]

Yes there is. In fact there are a couple; which one you use depends on what you want to do with the data.

1. Forms Toolbar ComboBox. Drag onto the sheet, right-click, choose Format Control, then set the Input Range and Cell Link properties on the Control tab.
This will give you a list to pick from, and return a number to the linked cell which is the position of the picked item in the list.

2. Controls Toolbar ComboBox. Drag onto the sheet, select Properties and set the Linked Cell and List Fill Range boxes to the appropriate cells. Close the Control Toolbox.
This will give you a list as before, but this time the actual value/text from the list will appear in the linked cell.

Yes you are right, i just forgot about Cell Link and Linked Cell.
It was to simple to think about :)
