I'm not sure if this will help you or not, but in webpage design, the only way to guarantee a user will see the type in the font you want if it is not preloaded on Windows is to use an image with the type in the font you want. Hopefully that will give you some ideas if it's not possible! Good luck.

mjd - you using visual studio to create the reports? If you use the 'normal' fonts - it is just like working with any other MS program in creating the fonts you want used... just do not use any weird things like bburnell said. example -- part of my company is in the Orient. THEY have the font set for one of my reports... anyone else who might have access to that report should learn that language quickly.
I would recommend picking a standard font for ALL of your reports. I have a standard header and footer as well so that the users know what to expect more than anything... also when they print and 'accidently' leave it on a printer - we know what user did it... make sense?
