How do you imbed a Font in Illustrator 8. I thought it was convert to outlines, but when I tried to open it in Freehand or Corel it asks me to choose a font. I am saving as an EPS and I check include document fonts and document images. Probably sounds like a stupid question, but I have been working in Corel. Thanks for help.

Regards,
Roger

Checking 'embed' in the 'save' dialog is correct. Creating outlines from text is not necessary, but...

If Corel and FH are asking for a font replacement even after you have embedded and outlined all fonts, there must be something screwy/buggy in the particular document, or with the fonts on your system. If you outlined all the fonts, there should be no need for font replacement. - - the file may have junk data in it. Try saving down to a really low version to exclude possibly incompatible data (like Illustrator EPS 3).
