I need to open an Access97 file located in C:\Program Files\data.mdb and basically have it display on a form so the user can edit the data directly.

Please send detailed instructions if you can help. I know I probably need to use an OLE, but I am new to embedding objects.

Remember, I don't just need to display the data, I need the ability to also edit it directly. (And on a machine that does not have Microsoft Access97 installed.

Thanks! -

You don't say what you want to 'embed' it in.

Access forms are part of the database. To create an Access form you must have Access installed.

There are ways to edit Access databases without Access, but they in turn require tools to impliment.

In any case it is far beyond what could be explained here on this forum.
